Identifying Priorities for Research in KT: Forming an International Collaboration
A SSHRC funded international research team meeting was held June 12 and 13, 2008 at the Sidney Pier Hotel in Sidney, BC, Canada. Our goal was to identify a research priority related to user-driven knowledge translation. The team’s hard work culminated in a complete first draft of a proposal for the SSHRC International Opportunities competition for November, 2008. The proposal focuses on using a 5 stage scoping study approach to existing literature to identify gaps and emerging practices about youth-directed projects in the area of youth health. Team members are using cyberspace to refine the proposal for submission – through their shared “Google” document. To learn more about the meeting, click on the summary link.
