While the photography galleries they established were focused on by Hannah, they were a combined effort, and Richard's Boot and Shoe stores accompanied Hannah's Photographic Gallery. Three successful locations were operated.

These locations and improvements are a testament to the success of the galleries and the growth of Victoria and British Columbia. Their mention in a Winnipeg Article and the 1896 Special Edition of the Colonist support this.
