This website contains a selection of resources for teaching dance to children from k to grade 7.  The material is based on the use of Laban's movement concepts and connected to the BC IRP for PE.  Dance materials are linked from the menu bar to the left.  Below are links to task progressions to two dances. Each dance is developed with video clips of pre-service teachers performing each section of the task progression to the final whole dance.  Included are dance analysis and music files for each dance.
