1. -We need a raise. Our salary is not enough and our savings have almost disappeared. We have two adolescents at home and they eat a lot!

2. My daughter and her husband want to buy a house. I think it is a good idea but they don't have enough money for the down payment. Maybe we can help them. Our mortgage is almost paid.

3. -Carletto, you must listen to your mother! You cannot do everything by yourself yet.
