Fresher

Description of game

A tag game that requires team collaboration to help free captured teammates.

Aim

To empty the compost bin of your opponents.

Structure

Two teams of even numbers (or close) or you can make a judge if odd numbers
Each team has a refrigerator and a compost, you are all produce (fruit or vegetable)
When you leave the refrigerator you will start to spoil.
If someone from the other team runs out of their fridge and tags you, and says, “I’m fresher than you”

(have them repeat it)

You then must go to their compost.

As the compost builds up you must always be linked by your hands and you can stretch towards your fridge.
Your team must try and free produce from the compost, when you free people from the compost you Have a free run back to the fridge.

The game ends when all of one team is in the compost of the other

Alteration:

You can introduce a baking soda, baking soda can never end up in the compost but can free the entire compost and then stay there themselves by tagging any one person in the compost.  This variation is better with larger groups when the compost can get quite large.
