Crows and Cranes

Description of game

A quick tag game that takes a pair of students and lets them compete in a fun activity that allows a lot of choices in strategy.

Aim

To reach the safe zone before getting tagged, or to tag your partner.

Structure

1. •Partner up, line up facing your partner
   

2. •Cranes are on the left, crows are on the right
   

3. •When your bird is called, run into “safe zone” and stop using base
   

4. •When your partner’s bird is called, chase after them and try to tag them
   

5. •Starting point can be anywhere in the center rectangle across from your partner (more offensive, more defensive)
   

6. •Two rounds, shift on person down.
   

7. •Odd number one judge, judge joins, and others shift.
