Assessment




  1. Assessment for this unit should include a variety of teacher, student and peer observations

  2. Focus should be on personal achievements rather than comparisons to other students abilities

  3. Skill and Ability should be equally important as effort and participation

  4. Self Assessment or participation will occur everyday

  5. Teacher and Peer Assessment should occur periodically throughout the unit

  1. Students practice dribbling techniques in partners (tap/Indian/pulls)

  2. Each student sets a goal for the end of the lesson

    (Examples: Complete 4 successful pulls in a row – Dribble through cones with head up)

  1. Partners provides feedback to each other to help refine and achieve goal

  2. Can be adapted for other techniques or skills
