Linked from this page are examples of game making tasks designed for children of seven years and older. Game making or game creation tasks permit children to take responsibility for their own learning as they learn to create games that they can play. In this approach students learn to change the structures of games to challenge their own motor-skill and tactical abilities (Curtner-Smith, 1996). The games in this booklet are examples of lead-up games (Wall & Murray, 1994) that feed into the games within each of the game categories.
The first link are games that could be used for different BM and EH themes but in particular for the BM theme of GUARDING.
The second link are games that could be used for several
EH themes but in particular for the EH theme of PASSING.
