Robotics and Autonomous Systems

This division brings together ACIS work on drones and other autonomous platforms, including navigation, mapping, inspection, path and trajectory planning, sensing, and autonomy for systems that operate beyond the bench.

Physical AI

Physical AI connects learning algorithms to machines, people, and laboratory testbeds. ACIS work in this division includes robot-cell intelligence, imitation and adaptive learning, human-robot collaboration, and XR/VR/AR interfaces for working with physical systems.

Intelligent Systems

This division focuses on the software and analytical systems that help ACIS research move from data to decisions. Work includes applied AI, digital twins, 3D and visualization tools, multi-agent systems, decision support, and R&D software for industrial and public-sector partners.
