Evan Crawford

Evan first worked in the group as an undergraduate 499 project student; having completed that, he continued with his project over summer '05 as an USRA research assistant. He worked on designing and making new catalysts for biodiesel production. Evan won the Jarmila Vlasta Von Drak Thouvenelle Award for his 499 project, which is given to outstanding undergraduate students who have completed a course project in sustainable energy systems demonstrating innovative design or research.

Evan is now a graduate student in Earth and Ocean Sciences at UBC.
