Managerial Routines

Beginning of Class
  • Have a little free time before warm-ups.
  • Have teams or groups already set up.
  • Briefly describe the lesson.

During the Class
  • Have one established rule i.e. Hold the volleyballs when the whistle is blown.
  • Deduct marks for students who do not participate in the activity.
  • Have students sit while talking to them.
  • Students who are not participating due to injury or lack of strip can complete Teacher Time on Task Assessment or officiate games.
End of Class
  • Additional comments on the lesson.
  • Quick description of next class.
