Arunava Maity





Arunava grew up in Namkhana, West Bengal, India. He received his BSc and MSc in Chemistry from the Calcutta University and IIT Madras respectively. In June 2018, he earned his Ph.D in Chemical Science from CSIR-NCL Pune, India. His Ph.D research work involves design, synthesis/functionalization of small molecule based organic assemblies, dyes etc. and study their self-organization behavior, photophysical property in solution as well as in solid state. From early January 2019, he joined Manners Group as a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Victoria, where he investigates living CDSA of block copolymers with an aim to be used them in biomedical applications. In spare time he loves playing and watching soccer. He enjoys the journey without destination, and likes of being optimistic and optimistic people too!
