Chuanqi was born in Xiangyang, Hubei Province, P. R. China. In August 2010, he moved to Beijing for his undergraduate studies in the China Agriculture University and in 2014 he started his PhD at Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. where he performed research under the supervision of Prof. Tiansheng Mei. After receiving his PhD, Chuanqi joined the Manners group in October 2019 as a post-doctoral fellow, His research interest is currently on the self-assembly of conjugated polymers. In his free time, he enjoys sports such as hiking, badminton, ping pong and walking around.
