Jade was born in Nanning, China and grew up in Vancouver before pursuing her undergraduate degree at the University of Victoria. She is currently completing her honours project with the Manners group, focusing on the synthesis of inorganic polymers. In her free time, Jade enjoys sailing, tennis, equestrian sports, and is also a certified climbing gym instructor!
