Vincent Annibale

Vince grew up in Mississauga, in the beautiful banana belt of southern Ontario, Canada. Vince received his Hon.B.Sc. degree from the University of Toronto at Mississauga under the supervision of Prof. Ulrich Fekl, and his PhD degree from the University of Toronto under the tutelage of Prof. Datong Song. After his PhD he undertook a postdoctoral fellowship in the group of Prof. Michael Fryzuk at the University of British Columbia (UBC). During his PhD and Postdoctoral research at UBC he explored multidentate actor ligand designs for small molecule activation. Vince joined the Manners group at University of Bristol first as an NSERC postdoctoral fellow, and later as a Marie Curie fellow, where he studied catalysis with main group substrates. Vince has moved back to Canada with the Manners group to the University of Victoria where he is currently studying the applications of conjugated polymeric materials. Outside the lab Vince enjoys comedies, cooking, and the company of family and friends.
