1) Equipment
2) Procedures
- Before class as all students are filtering out of the change room the equipment being used that day is open for use provided it is used appropriately, except gymnastic equipment.
- If the equipment is used inappropriately (i.e.: as a weapon, punted off the wall, ceiling, toward a person or crowd of people, etc.) the equipment will be put away until the teacher wants to use it in the lesson.
- This will produce group responsibility as no one wants 20 other kids mad at them for booting the ball, theoretically they will all behave.
- If this doesn't work NO equipment until the lesson starts.
- Equipment counts will be done by a different person each class, it is their responsibility and they will sign the equipment count sheet at the end of each class.
- Equipment counts are done before the lesson begins (to ensure all is returned from play) and at the end of class.
3) Groupings

- It is the students responsibility to memorize the person who sits in front and behind them
- Students will sit in their rows when the teacher blows the whistle at the beginning of the class
- Attendance will be done and students will report who is not present
- To ensure that students memorize their neighbours a quiz worth 2% will be given at the beginning of the first three lessons (total value 6% or one letter grade).
- Students will ask to: use the washroom or leave the class for any reason.
- Students are responsible to bring clothing specific for PE a gym strip is required for every class.
- If students do not bring gym strip they will participate any way AND loose 2.5% of their grade per time per unit.
- During an emergency: fire alarm, earth quake, explosion, etc. students will put their equipment on the floor and follow the instructions of the teacher.
- The teacher will follow emergency procedure guidelines as provided by school or school district.
- Illness/Non-participation: Students must come to class and bring a signed not from their parent or doctor.
