ModulesModules offered in Chem 590 cover topics that are generally dealt with at undergraduate level in insufficient detail to provide a good grounding at graduate level. Chem 590 is designed to fill in these gaps and provide a means by which grad students can bolster their background in particular areas of interest. The course is primarily designed for new graduate students (but senior grad students are also welcome to register). Because of the high level of delivery and low number of students, the teaching method may be considerably less conventional than a typical course, and modules may be delivered at unusual times or in large chunks. Keep an open mind! Modules may be withdrawn if insufficient interest is shown in a particular year. Approximate dates are tabulated below.
