Four lesson unit to introduce the game of soccer and its tactical concepts to a class of Grade 9/10 grils phisical education class.
Entry ability
-Able to pass and control with feet in various situations.
-Able to shoot at the net with limited accuracy.
-Able to perform throw-ins to restart the play.
-Able to restart play by using a short corner kick.
-Possess a broad understanding of the various positions and rules of the game of soccer.
Exit ability
-Able to provide support to ball carrier.
-Able to shoot and turn when attacking the goal.
-Able to defend space by marking and pressuring the ball.
-Able to defend the goal with a goalkeeper in proper position.
