Introduce story as seen on the Introduction page  

 

Discuss with students how Winne the Pooh might walk while on his way to Piglets. Brainstorm some movement

Remind students that Winne the Pooh is very happy as he has a fresh pot of honey.

Discuss with students how a Heffalumph or Woozle might move.

Remind students that they do not want Winne the Pooh to see them.

Have the entire class move as Pooh's to the beat. Use claves to time the beat.

Timing of rhythm. Movement. How does Pooh move? Happily! Try using different levels.

Have the entire class move as Woozles to the beat. Use claves to time the beat. Timing of rhythm. Movement. How does a Woozle move? Sneaky! Try using different levels.
