Sequence of Games for the Unit:
 
    Lesson 1: How can you be more consistent using the forearm pass?
        Bounce Game
        Castle Game
        Passing -> with net
 
    Lesson 2: How do you use space to win points?
        Continuous Passing
        Keep it Up
        Modified Line Game
        Crossover
 
   Lesson 3: How do you support a teammate and create and attack?
        Touch & Pass
        Target Toss
        Serve Receive -> Target
        Serve Receive -> Attack
 
    Lesson 4: How do you defend your area?
        Thread the Needle
        Continuous Serve (or “Free Ball”) Receive
                teacher centered -> student centered
        2v2 or 3v3 Monarch
        
Entry Ability
•	Necessary movement skill, ie: movement to the ball
•	Understand forearm and overhead pass and when to perform each within a game
•	Demonstrate catching and throwing 
•	Can perform multiple hits or passes in a mainly closed environment (ie. being tossed the ball with no variation)
•	Able to perform basic game routines
Exit Ability
    
      Psychomotor
•	Execute forearm and overhead passes in game play
•	Execute underhand serve in game play
•	Pass ball with accuracy to a target area
•	Ability for multiple ball contacts on offense

Affective
•	Listening and cooperation with teachers and peers
•	Courtesy and respect for peers space 
•	Ability to work within  a team environment 
•	Communication with peers and teachers agreeably

Cognitive 
•	Ability to be trusted to a court and begin play
•	Ability to cover space and acquisition of reception skills (move to receive)
•	Knowledge of GPAI for timing

    Prescribed Learning Outcomes
        It is expected that students will:

•    Demonstrate ways to send, receive, and retain and object with increased speed, accuracy and distance
•    Apply activity-specific motor skills in game activities
•    Apply basic offensive and defensive strategies
•    Use body mechanics to describe the performance of self and others.
