Gauss's Law is one of the four Maxwell's equations. Take a look at the other three 1 and notice how they are all expressions in terms of line and surface integrals.

This video is sort of optional. It's definitely not optional for anyone in physics/engineering or would ever see anything to do with electric fields because we are going to derive one of the foundational laws in Electricity and Magnetism. And it is good practice for everyone else. But I won't test the physics part of this.
