Section 6.1 Surface Integrals
We now investigate Surface Integrals, integrating some function over a surface. Just as we had three ways to describe surfaces - parametrically, implicitly, and explicitly - we have three formulas for Surface Integrals. We will also look at a few examples: mass of a variable mass density surface, and average temperature.
